Normal for 3 week old to not poop for one day?

My 3 week son hasn't pooped all day but has had plenty wet diapers. Is this normal? When I changed him a second ago there was a little bit of poop around his bumhole but that was it.

If you are breast feeding I would say yes it is normal. My EBF baby would go days without pooping and it is normal. They use up very bit of the breast milk so they make very little waste. As long at your LO is not seeming in pain or straining like constopation and still making wet diapers then I wouldn't worry about it.

My doctor said it was normal at a month old I was scared I was also breastfeeding and formula feeding.

My son's pediatrician told me that it's normal for babies to go up to 10 days without pooping, shocking I know!
