failed ivf - zero fertilisation

Hi girls, I am just wanting to know if any of you have ever had ivf and none of your eggs fertilised. My partner of 9 years and I have been TTC for the last 5 years and 4 months ago we did our first round of ivf. 18 eggs were collected but only 8 were mature. We had a call the following day to let us know that none of the 8 eggs fertilised and when I asked how common this was I was told not common at all. In fact this only happened to 2% of ivf patients. I haven't come across anyone else who this has happened to and am feeling so unhopeful after this news. Have any of you had this happen? Or do you know someone this has happened to? X
