6weeks3days spotting

I have talked to doctor they said wait it out. Need reassurance. I have had no cramping but this spotting only when I wipe been going on now about 5 hours. Doc said normal. I have a slight yeast infection on vaginal cream prescribed my doctor, no symptoms did not know I had it. Been on medicine about 4 days. Could this cause it? I am worried. Please help experience please. My first ultrasound is not scheduled for another week.
