those who live out of state

So I live in Texas and my mom lives in New Jersey. I'm giving birth in Texas and my moms plan is to fly out on the whim when she hears I'm dilating or being induced or feel it coming. My fear is she'll miss the delivery and I really want her there... I don't want her to boook her flight now and then have a short period of time with us. Her plan was to come out for 2 weeks
