Dairy free diet for baby?

Anyone having to go on a dairy free diet for baby? I never realized how many things contained milk until now.

I did and it was hard at first then you find your groove. Oreos are dairy free!

I've been dairy free since 4 weeks old. I took wish they'd tell you more about dos and don't for eating. Turns out dairy is very hard on little babies bellys. Zo would just constantly scream for hours, hardly slept. I love cheese 🧀 too and yogurt so I ate a lot. Finally took her to the doctors cutbiut dairy she's on an acid reflux medicine. Now sleeps threw the night and is much happier.

I did it in the begging because my daughter was really gassy and spitting up and it didn't make any difference. What helped was changing feeding positions (because I had an overactive letdown) and time for her digestive track to mature and mylicon drops.

I cut out all dairy when my daughter was 2 months. She turned into a happy and less spitty baby, she would spit up soo much and once a day throw up a whole feeding. And I dropped a ton of weight!

You have to get creative. The earth balance "butter" is really good, but has a lot of salt in it. I love pancakes, and instead of milk I use SoDelicious  unsweetened coconut milk and you'd never know the difference!

I gave it a try and it's helped me more than baby.  Dairybis in so much though.  It hides in some things.
