birth control

Looking for opinions and experiences on birth control. I'm looking for something that is more long term and has minimal side effects. I was on depo and it made me crazy (dr said mostly because I'm petite). Also i have clot history in the family so I'm limited. Any suggestions/experiences? Tell me what you love and hate about yours.
