What are the benefits or your favorite things about being a SAHM

SAHM here, going on 4.5 years now! I can't imagine not being with my two kids every minute of the day. I am planning to homeschool so I will be with them all the time until they graduate. 
I love being a mom and could never trust anyone else with the huge responsibility to do my job right! 
My parents asked to keep my kids for a few hours last week so I allowed my kids to go. But I really missed them not being there. I missed all the noise that they make playing all the time. Which is ironic since I am always asking them to be quieter and use "indoor voices". 😂 
So I love my children dearly and am thankful to God for making it possible for me to be able stay with them everyday.

I love being here for all my daughters milestones. Plus no one can calm her down when her teeth start hurting her like mommy can!! She will be 14 months old tomorrow.

I am not planning to be one. I am working hard on my future career right now and for me education and having a career is an important thing and I wont be the best version of me as a home maker. I can be a SAHM for the first 6mo/year, but I will still work after that. However it does not mean I wont raise my kids. SAH indeed is hard work, but it just isnt for me.

If we could afford it, I would.  But I'm the bread winner in our home while my husband finishes his degree so I'll be working after little fella arrives. I'm not entirely thrilled to go back to work after only 6 weeks, but I have to do what I have to do.

If it works out financially for me to stay home rather than putting my child in daycare, that's what I'll be doing!! Teachers don't make much so if I'm going to be working simply to pay child care I will just stay home.

I am currently working full time, and with my first baby, it KILLLED me to go back to work. I cried every time I pumped. It's so hard when your baby is so tiny and helpless and their food source is literally attached to your body. I hated it. I hate that I get home at six now, and she goes to bed at 7. I miss her so much during the week. (She's 18 months now). I am expecting baby number two, and this time around I will be leaving my job and freelancing from home (graphic design). I already have a couple of steady clients, so it's looking good for me! I NEVER thought I would want to leave my job and stay home. I love working, and I love graphic design. But becoming a mom changed how I felt about my job. I'm excited that I'll still be able to design and stay abreast of design trends, but be home with my babies. It's gonna be tough (it's tough no matter what) but I think it is what's best for our family.

I told hubby I'll stay home the first 6-12 months but then will want to work part time to keep my sanity and have adult interaction

Working a 9-5 would be easier for me and more enjoyable. I don't want kids but if it happened and I wasn't a single parent, I'd want my partner to stay with the kids instead of me.

I don't even want to be a mom but if I had a kid I would stay at home. I'm planning on becoming a teacher but I always said I would homeschool my kid.
