Sleeping 4 month old

Okay so my son hasn't really slept a whole lot this past week mainly because his daddy was out of state working I guess idk but he would only sleep a couple hours during the night and not nap during the day. Well yesterday he slept for a while and today he's been asleep all day. Like he's literally only been awake maybe 4-6 hours today if that. He's super cranky while awake and only wants to eat and go right back to sleep. I checked his temp bc he was sweating but his legs and arms were cold and it was 98.4 I know that's not really a fever but I'm worried he might be trying to get sick and have a fever?? Idk I'm a ftm and I'm trying to make sure he's not getting sick. I know he's trying to teeth also so that may play a part in it too. Does anyone have any suggestions on what's going on?? He goes in a couple days to get shots. Thanks
