Okay mommas! I have been EBF my daughter for 5 1/2 months now. I've had a few issues with dry crackled nipples, and LO got thrush a few months ago so we had to take care of that. Everything has been fine for a while. All of a sudden the last few days just on my right side, as soon as LO latches on it is SUPER intense pain, and continues through the feeding. It feels like the first day we started nursing! But the pain is in my nipple and also very deep in my boob, almost to my chest. Any thoughts on what might be causing it? There aren't any visible signs of anything wrong. It's still a little dry but it has been since the thrush. I still put the ointment I was prescribed for that on daily.
