IUD preventing pregnancy?

So I've had my copper IUD in for 4 years and my fiancé and I decided we were going to try to have a baby. So two cycles ago I went to have it removed, I have taken numerous tests only to not be pregnant 🙄 however my periods are lasting 3-5 days and are very light by the second day 🤔 I was wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem? Any insight ladies 😩

I've never been on an IUD, but I was on Depo for two years (which has said to cause infertility). My advice is give your body some time. 0 - 6 months is what I was told. 
If you still have issues, seek help of a doctor.

I had the mirena iud for 7 years before trying to get pregnant. I had it removed, waited three months like my doctor advised, and got pregnant the first time we tried. Just keep trying! Good luck ☺

Your doctor should have told you when you had it removed that it could take a while to become pregnant. Most doctors won't see you about infertility until you have been actively trying for at least a year. Good luck!

It took my mom a year before having a definite cycle after taking out the IUD.
