Someone please tell me parenting gets easier, my 22 week old just cries and cries and cries no matter what, surviving on a total of 3 hours sleep in the past 4 days, sobbing in the corner whilst he starts screaming again

Sorry you have to go through that mommy. I don't want to be a negative Nancy but if baby's cry that much usually something is wrong.

I'm speaking off experience unfortunately so I know what you are going trough. No one took me seriously in the beginning because I am a first time mom. I have "yelled" at a lot of doctors and other people, because I new this wasn't normal, and I was so angry and frustrated that my baby was unhappy and in pain. Eventually she had to be admitted. My daughter has an cows milk allergy and reflux. Because off the allergy her body stopped working properly.

My advice to you is to hang in there and trust your gut. Let a doctor, lactation expert, paediatrician, allergist etc check your baby for things like a cows milk allergy, reflux, HCFS, etc. Don't let anyone tell you this is normal.

(In Holland/The Netherlands the norm between normal and abnormal is when a baby cries more than 3 hours a day for longer than 3 days a week, 3 weeks in a row. The crying is always top notch, the baby makes upset movements with the hands and feet and usually has all the muscles tightened.)

Good luck, you can do this! Ask for help so you can sleep. I went to my parents and in laws for a few weeks (without my SO because he had to work) and I can recommend it to you.

It gets easier!! Hang in there momma! My son was up every 1-2 hours until he was 6 months old. I was at the end of my rope with getting no sleep. Then we finally did some sleep training and he has been sleeping all night 8 until 7 for 2 months now and I am so happy. I promise it gets easier!!

Oh gosh that doesn't sound good. I can't tell you it gets easier as mine is only 4 months but I can tell you that you do have support here. 
Hang in there and take a break (leave the room) for five minutes. It won't do baby any harm but will do you the world of good.
