lower back pain at 4 months?

Hey ladies,

Any of you guys having a sore back already? I'm anxious in case this is a "gained too much weight already" thing (although I actually don't know how much I have gained having been away from my house and scales for 3 weeks). Or maybe it's normal? To be fair I've got weird fused vertebrae down the bottom but they haven't bothered me for years... any mommies in the same boat?

My lower back and it wraps around my sides. But doesn't reach my front. 17 weeks 4 days

Oh yea. Mine hurts especially when I slept on my back. My fiancee actually flips me over now if he notices it

Yeah my back hurts too. I have been trying to stretch it out each day. Small walks seem to help. I would go see a professional if it's in one spot and not going away.

I've had back pain since like 8 weeks :/ just lower like a pinched nerve but it prevents me from walking sometimes.

Yes for sure, and if I over do it it's way worse - walked a ton this past weekend and it's been so stiff ever since.

Yes! Same here.  I'm 16w4D and when I stand too long there is this lower back pain I get.  I don't know if it was me gaining too much weight because last I heard I lost 15 lbs at my OB's office.

I got lower, one-sided back pain at about 10 weeks that got increasingly worse. Due to previous health problems with my hip and back, once the relaxin kicked in, my muscles gave way a bit and my sacroiliac joint dropped out of place!

Bedrest and intense physio has really improved it and reduced my pain levels without medication :)

Please go see your doctor ASAP and get referred to a physio; prefab lay one with pregnancy experience. Within a week or two, you'll feel much better :)

Leaving it will only cause worse issues further along. Don't feel bad that it's started up so soon, if you have previous medical issues, then it's going to aggravate things sooner :(
