Do NOT use First Response Digital. FALSE NEGATIVE!

Just some friendly advice for all those TTC... I tested positive on 3 regular FRERs and on 1 FRER digi on 14dpo, 17 dpo and 20 dpo. The ones on 17 and 20 dpo and were increasingly very dark lines! I had one leftover FRER digi and my initial prenatal isn't until Wednesday, so I thought what the heck, lets take it! Well, I spent about an hour panicking last night bc the test came back as NEGATIVE! I took to google desperately thinking I may have miscarried (I'm only 5 weeks), and found a huge amount of negative reviews on that particular test. I got 2 Clear Blue digis in the middle of the night, and they came back PREGNANT. Apparently, that FRER digi is notoriously faulty, 1.5 out of 5 stars on their website.

Save yourself the potential stress, and stay away from the FRER digitals! The regular tests are great, and thank you Clear Blue for piece of mind!

Digitals take need a lot more hcg in the urine to work so it doesn't mean it's necessarily faulty you just have to wait longer. I've had no problem with any FRER products.

I agree don't trust first response digital I was 5 weeks pregnant and bought two of those tests as soon as I opened it it was blinking so I peed on it and it never gave me a result just had the timer symbol on it. So I said okay maybe just faulty took another one from a different store and did the same thing. Kinda strange two in a row I was most definitely pregnant as I'm 36 weeks now and no neither package was expired or looked tampered with and I did use it properly as the box said. But I do recommend the plain first response with the pink lines easy to tell a positive or negative without evaporation lines interfering.

I failed two first responses and didn't think I was pregnant. Two weeks later I was still convinced because I know my own body. Took two clear blues and both said I was pregnant! Spent 2 weeks thinking I was going nuts hahah

I wish I would've read this last night! I got two faint positives from frer Saturday and Sunday and took the frer digi this morning and it said no I've been freaking out all day! I have an appt tomorrow evening to confirm and I have a line frer teSt left so ill retest tomorrow morning with fmu! Thank you for this it eased my mind a little!

Same happened here!! I took both tests that came in the box, the line test and digital, the digital said no. Idk how much HCG is needed but my numbers a day ago were 178. I am now freaking out and am gonna get a blood test tomorrow!

I know this is an old post but for a week I had a milky white cm, right lower abdominal cramps and very gassy. 5 days before expected period I used frer 76% accuracy and it's negative. Today is  2 days before expected period I used the frer digital 99% accuracy and got a NO. I'm so anxious if AF will come on Monday. I still have one First response rapid test. I got all three different kind in a box. I feel like it's a waste of money cause it maybe just an imaginary pregnancy symptoms.
