Pursuing Art

This isn't really controversial, but I've always been looked down on anytime I've mentioned pursuing art professionally. I finally decided to start going for it. I usually paint very realistically, but I decided to play around with abstract and expressionistic styles. This week is the first week I started selling my art and I've sold 4 paintings so far, all $215 or more a piece. I just wanted to brag on myself a minute because I've always been so insecure.
