I need all sorts of help!

So my boyfriend of almost 2 years went to college in Kansas and I live in Houston. His parents live in Dallas and thats where he went for his winter break. Him and his parents got into a giant fight and they basically cut him off. They told him he can't go back to college and that he can't live with them. His plan was to come here and live with me but his parents took away his car. He needed to get his stuff from his dorm in Kansas so him and one of his college friends went up to Kansas to get his stuff. Sadly, his friend works up there so he couldn't take him back. My boyfriend doesn't have a car or any money. He asked me if I could drive to Kansas to get him and I told him yes. My parents would never in a thousand years let me drive for 12 hours by myself. I have no idea what to do. Can someone please give me some advice? I would really appreciate it!
