FTM Advise needed. Best slow flow nipple??

Question

I had my baby 5 days ago and my boobs started to engorge. Because of that my baby has a harder time latching. I pump as much as I can and since she didn't latch today and was getting frustrated, I gave her my first breast milk bottle today. The milk came way too fast for her and it made her cough. Any tips on slow flow nipples/bottles??

We had the best luck with Dr. Browns! You can use the nipples that come with the bottles or you can purchase premie nipples which have an even slower flow which I found really helpful in the beginning. I had the same problem where i became too engorged and then got an infection and had to pump and I found that these bottles work the best. Good luck!

Im planning on using the smaller comotomo bottle in 5 oz. slower flow for newborns. Heard great things.
