ectopic pregnancy?

So I had severe cramping today that kinda felt like horrendous gas that I couldn't get out. So I went to the doctor and he wanted to do an ultrasound. In the ultrasound they couldn't see the baby and he said it could be an ectopic pregnancy or just simply be too early to see the baby.. anyone have this or a similar experience? Also there's no spotting or bleeding. I'm about 4 weeks today.

4 weeks is definetly too early to see anything on an ultrasound. Hopefully it was just gas pains

4 weeks is way too early to see anything on an ultrasound so I would get too scared just yet. Also, I'm 13 weeks and get cramps all the time. Horrible "I'm about to start my period" cramps. I've had 2 ultrasounds so I know everything is fine in there. I'd wait until they can recheck before getting too worried

I'm just saying I had excruciating gas pains about a week ago (6 weeks), it was so bad I was convinced I was having an ectopic pregnancy or a MC. Honestly I've never felt anything like it, but after bloodwork and ultrasound, we discovered it had nothing to do with my pregnancy. I went home that night and started passing gas and felt much better. It was super embarrassing to go sit in the ER and have all that work done just for gas but it didn't feel like that's what it was! You're still early and nothing would be seen on an ultrasound anyway, so try not to stress momma :)

In case anyone was wondering how this turned out, it was ectopic. Lost my baby and a Fallopian tube the next day. Ready to try again next month and just praying for a rainbow baby.

Did the pain go away completely? 
I have had an ectopic before. The pain/discomfort would change in severity, sometimes light and other times quite painful, but never fully go away.

I had this yesterday - so scary ! 
I don't even know if I'm pregnant ? I just figured mine is because of the vitamins I'm taking but I've been taking them for a few weeks now ?
I'd definitely go to get a different opinion ! I'm sorry I'm lot much help but you need to look after yourself
