giving birth in America
Why does America induce birth so much for often times no reason? Or do so many c sections often times for no reason other than electively? I understand medical reasons. But so many women I see here are scheduling inductions just for schedules and conveniency... But if that is what the mother wants then that's really all that matters I guess! I just know myself personally, I can't wait to go into natural labour and experience what my body was made to do without so much medication and medical intervention. I know inductions are usually so much more painful and intense I wouldn't go through with that unless medically necessary. Can someone explain this to me? Why so many inductions and elective c sections in the states? It seems like birth is so controlled and time managed and forced.
