Braxton hicks?

I will be 35 weeks this weekend and I have a question! Do all Braxton hicks hurt? Or can my stomach just tighten up??

I have A LOT of Braxton hicks. Most of them don't hurt. But just this week, here and there I get mild menstrual-like cramping with one or two here or there. Nothing I would describe as pain, I'd say the discomfort of having them (and maybe because I have so many) is gradually increasing as I approach 40 weeks

Some ladies say they hurt especially with subsequent pregnancies. Mine have never hurt, my uterus just gets extremely tight and hard like a giant blood pressure cuff being tightened around my belly. Baby moves sometimes but Often times baby has no room to move at all depending on the position it's in but fun thing is I can feel body parts plain as day when it happens.
