Will I ever get my body back?

Question

I am almost 35 weeks and about to explode 😆😆

I know the most important is to have two healthy babies but I cannot help worrying about my body... my bump is so big that I am a bit scared to have twin skin afterwards... I have also put on a lot of weight - 50 pounds (I was not overweight at first) and I cannot recognize myself in the mirror... even my face has changed...

Do you I will struggle a lot to lose weight?
Can the bump skin go back to was it was before or am I dreaming?

My twins are 6 months and I have a really long list of issues I'm going through right now. And I'm actually tired of ranting on this forum too. I'm so sad that I was once a fit woman and now I don't recognize myself. I'm really hoping and praying I'd get my body back. My sisters and cousin had singleton pregnancies and it took all of them a good year to get their old bodies though not with the same fitness. So with twins and C section, I decided to give myself at least 18 months. I tried dieting and nonsense and ended up with terrible migraines adding to the existing sleeplessness. I hope my tendonitis goes away and I'll get back to normal though it looks very distant right now. Cry cry cry

Im actually wondering the same thing..i had a c section with my twins 8 wks ago...i am just 4lbs away from my pre pregnancy weight but my issue is my stomach..it looks horribel and im so insecure about it that i dont even take my shirt of during sex smh..i can live with the stretchmarks but its the pouch and darkness that i really hate

I been worried about this too. Only difference is I started off overweight obese or whatever I'm 26+3 days pregnant with my the wins boys. In 3 weeks I gained 8 lbs I'm so scared doctor said I'm doing good cus all together in these 26 weeks I've only gained 10 lbs but still. I been stuck on the show my 600lb life. Not a good thing I must say. Wish twin mom's would post bout how the did it m what they look like after birth

I gained 64 lbs with my first. I was miserable. My face was huge arms huge. Legs were red and swollen and would rug when I'd walk. After I had my 8 lbs 4 oz babe the weight literally started fading. I breastfed and ate healthy chicken steak fish sweet potatoes rice broccoli. For the first month then once I lost my 'baby weight' I went back to eating anything and everything as if I were pregnant again. It's amazing what our bodies can do. Don't get disappointed or discouraged though. It took months to gain wait it'll take time to lose the weight too. ❤😉

I wish I could be super nice and say yes as after all my pregnancy mine did 
But truth is each person is different some bounce back like they were never pregnant other need to work for that body back

My pre fertility treatment weight was 130-135.  My pre-pregnancy weight was 142 and when I went into the hospital to have my babies I was 191.

I had the babies on 12/19 and on 12/28 I went to my doctors because I thought I might have a UTI and when they checked my vitals I was down to 155. Turns out my issues were all related to preeclampsia that did not resolve with birth so I had another follow up today (1/6) and I was down to 149.  I only have 7lbs to go till I hit pre pregnancy weight and about 19 until I hit pre fertility treatment weight and I am only 2 weeks and four days PP.

Breastfeeding and pumping help a ton. I still have a pooch and I ended up with some internal swelling in my pelvis region so my pooch is not just my uterus shrinking back to normal size it is also bloating and swelling.  Once those things are back to normal hopefully the pooch will be significantly reduced as well
