cheating

Have you ever taken a person back after they cheated on you? Do people who take back a person who cheated on them make them look weak or insecure? I took back my boyfriend who cheated on me. I had no idea he did until he told me, I knew he had been communicating with another female but didn't know he actually cheated. He took me out to dinner and told me he said it was eating away at him. He said that he wanted to move forward with me in his life and he wanted to tell me all of the truth in order to do so. I ended up taking him back we've been together for almost 6 years and I really do love him and I know he really loves me. Opinions???
