identical twins

Okay moms, when I first found I was having identical twins, my ob explained to me why. I have mono-di twins which means they share the same sac but a different placenta. She's told me multiple times they're identical and I go see a specialist for the simple fact I'm carrying identical.  My step mother is a licensed doctor and deals with everything in the hospital she works at. Her OB friend said they're not identical. I want to believe my own ob and doctor and not someone else that hasn't seen me before lol. So ladies, my babies are identical, right?
