I love flying !!! Although I've only flew once to Florida all by myself but I loved it :) if I had all the money in the world I would travel everywhere ❤

I was scared for my first flight. It wasn't bad so I'm not scared anymore

I'm terrified of flying, especially over water. I only ever make trips back home to Florida so I just take the train. It takes longer but it's significantly cheaper. Also when I visit my sister in NC I take the mega bus.

I don't know about fearful, but I don't enjoy it. I flew with hubby and baby to see his family, and hadn't flown in 3 or 4 years. It was either fly (3.5 hrs in the air) or drive (25 hrs driving time + lots of stops for baby + shitty winter weather) so we chose flying for baby's sake and to make the most of our days off

Yes- i used to not care and then in Feb 2013 I had a really bad flight and its scarred me ever since.... But... I'm a sales exec. I HAVE to travel. So i've flown prob 50 times since then, and about to on Sunday as well!

I have a couple vodka/sodas before, it helps.. Make a good playlist (like B.O.B. So Good) for when taking off to pump you up. Try to get a window seat and if not just ask the person to keep window open. When the flight takes off, count to 5 slowly in your head.. My pilot friend told me this. He said, 99% of any issue w a plane, ---and its soooo rare because a plane is literally the only transportation that has so many checks every single trip!! --- would occur within the first 5 seconds.  So now I do it every single time.

I hate turbulence as well but just always look at the flight attendants.. If theyre calm and still Ok you know its fine :). How they do this everyday is amazing to me, I could never, but I trust them.
