Don't know what to do

My husband and I decided to try to get pregnant so I stopped taking my pill back in October after my period came that month, it's been 3 months and still no period. I am sexually active and I've taken many pregnancy tests and they all came back negative. I don't have any symptoms and I've heard that it takes some time for your hormones to get back to normal and your period to come. Has anyone had this issue?? I don't know if I should just wait or just go to my gynecologist. 😕
