Yes!!!!!! Keep going momma! That's how it was for me for so long! I go to a breastfeeding workshop and they told me to drink tons of Gatorade. I don't and never really liked or drank it but I was so desperate i did. I drink about 90oz of Gatorade and then a ton of water. About another 40oz of water and about 3, 8 oz cups of mothers milk tea (for about 4 days so far) They say about a gallon of fluids to help your milk supply. Yesterday night was the first time I pumped 3oz from one breast! The last few days my little one drank from one breast and was satisfied and I offered the second and he didn't want it. I pumped the other breast while feeding on 1 and got 2 oz! I pray this continues, I hope , I hope! This week is the first time I stand and stuck to Gatorade so I'm thinking that's what helped! Don't give up, you got this!!!!!!! If you try this let me know if it helped. Lots of love to you and your little one!

You are not alone.  My son now 2 months is bottle fed as my milk never came in.  I still put him on my breast a few times per day after/before his bottle depending on how hungry he is.  It went from a few drops on my nipple to a spray in the last few weeks.  Its not enough for a meal but every bit helps. Do not be discouraged.

Yes! If you don't want to give up, keep at it! Have you tried a manual pump or hand expression? Some women don't respond well to pumps! There is a lovely facebook page on facebook that is called Breast, Bottle and Beyond-support group. It is everything related to breastfeeding. They have helped several women relactate after they had stopped for months!

Yes yes yes! I have started drinking a smoothie each morning that has flax seed, oats, and brewers yeast in it and it has really increased my supply! Keep going!!

Yes, pump every 3 hours. Whenever I miss a pump my milk supply goes way down.

That's how it is with my right breast, my left gets full and engorged... pumped again 3hrs later and managed to get 2oz... don't give up, give it a couple hours and go at it again!

definitely keep trying! make sure your flange size is proper for you and pump regularly, breasts respond to stimulation even if there is no baby believe it or not. you can also start taking some herbal blends to increase supply if you feel it is something you for sure want to stick to.
i have realized i don't respond well to a medela pump but i get so much more out with my spectra (even though my supply is still low) it is very depressing seeing a big bottle looking really empty so i pump into very small collection bottles only.
it is so worth it to know you're providing even a small amount for your little one

I'm on reglan to increase supply. Talk to your Obgyn if you have concerns. The reglan helped a lottttttt. I can get 4oz now from one breast and still feed on demand.
