New to birth control please help!!
I recently have been getting cysts on my ovaries after my periods. So I went to the gyno and she told me my hormones are unbalanced. She suggested birth control.
A few weeks after the visit I came back and told her I wanted my periods every 3 months and I didn't want those cysts coming back. so I started a birth control called: Levonorgestrel and ethinyl Estadiol tablets USP (0.1 mg/0.02 mg) and ethinyl estradiol tablets USP (0.01 mg) aka Loseasonique.
I have been taking them every single day at the exact time with no problem.
Except for this whole week I've been spotting like crazy. So does that mean I need a higher dose ? Or is this normal to have spotting the 5 th & 6th week ? Because if I'm going to keep ruining underwear and have random spotting and hating it should I switch to getting it once a month instead of every 3 months? Or is it the same with all birth control side affects? Someone please comment!!
