am I pregnant? irregular cycles

So I have irregular cycle they can go from 30-40 days the longest cycle I had was 56 days I had heavy bleeding then normally and big blood cots which were not normal the doctor said I could of had a miscarriage now this is the second time my cycle is at 50 Ive been trying conceive. Should I take a pregnancy test or should I wait another 6 days?
