Pierced ears???

So I've only had my ears pierced for 9 months and it was the first time I have done so. But I've noticed where my ears are pierced are sore and very tender. It pinches when I put in/take out my earrings. Any advice on to relieve this uncomfort?

They're probably infected, which happens quite a bit for me. You're more prone to getting it infected if the earrings you're using are "fake" & are not sterling silver or gold. I know I can't wear earrings that don't have either of those two. To clean it, put rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball. Take your earrings out & wipe it down. Leave the earrings out for an hour or so (or can do this before bed) & then put them back in. Before you put the earrings back in, clean them with rubbing alcohol again (let them sit in it).

Use the cleaning liquid they gave you (if they gave you any), if it's not infected just leave the earrings in to heal, it took mine almost a year to heal enough for me to put in different earrings. If it's infected you might want to go to the doctor to get antibiotics

Leave them alone if it hurts to touch them, they're probably just irritated or you may be allergic to some kind of metal in whatever jewelry you use. I've had a lot of body and ear piercings, the best thing you can do is soak it in warm salt water and if the problem persists, contact your piercer. Also, ear piercings done with a gun are significantly more prone to infection so if yours were done with a piercing gun instead of needle, that might be the issue.

It may be infected/irritated. My best advice? DONT TOUCH THEM. Don't twist them, don't take them out, don't touch the area with unwashed hands, don't submerge them in water (pools, baths, etc). I've had many piercings myself.
