Sharing time! What's your real life sappy love story?
My husband and I were friends for six years before we were more. We would always give one another relationship advice, and talk about how eventually we'd find "the one". We got really close when he was stationed in another state for the military, and we started to fall - hard - for one another. We talked all day every day. Eventually I made plans to visit him, and when he came to pick me up at the airport - he proposed in front of a crowd of people. We were never really boyfriend & girlfriend, which I still find wonderfully funny. We were engaged for all of 11 days before we ran to the courthouse and got married after ditching the idea of a big wedding. We spent our "wedding night" eating take out in the jacuzzi tub in our hotel room. We've been married over a year now. He's out of the military and we're exploring life together. He's my best friend. We definitely haven't had the most normal or easy path, but I'll take it. 😉❤️
