I guess it would depend. Sex isn't everything but it's still what brings a couple close and if your one that feels close during those times you might have to have a talk to work it out or figure what's better for your relationship.

Idk I think I'm asexual so I wouldn't have a problem with it. I mean I'll have sex as much as my boyfriend wants but I never crave it. If he never wanted to have sex again I'd be completely fine with it. But that's me and my needs, everyone is different and if sex is a really important aspect in your life (which is fine) then you need to tell him that.
