Placenta previa?

Hey ladies! Okay, so we had our anatomy u/s today and everything looked great with our little man 😊 But, at the very end, the tech commented that my placenta looked a bit low and we need to recheck in about 4 weeks. I spoke with my doctor afterwards, who wasn't concerned at all because she said it is only partial, and in marginal or partial previas, the uterus "pulls" the placenta up in 90% of cases and it is no longer a problem....but of course now I am panicking lol. With my son, my placenta was anterior and it was never an issue. Do any other mamas have experience with this or advice? Thank you so much! 😊❤️

My sister did, she was restricted from everything at 20 something weeks, no sex no heavy lifting no exercise, and hers didn't move up all the way, just some, they had to give her steroids to make sure baby's lungs were mature at the end and she delivered via c-section 3 weeks early, my niece was very healthy no nicu needed just an extra day under the lights! My sister was scared but if you do everything they tell you then you'll be fine!

Me I was told the same since 12 weeks. I have an appointment the February 3rd for my 20th  weeks so we will see if it has moved a little bit even though  it's still early. Hope for both of us it will move up where it should. Good luck.

With my second pregnancy I was told I had placenta previa. I had to go in twice a week for no stress tests and got an ultrasound every month to make sure it was moving up. My baby got big enough, and helped move my placenta up. Everything worked out fine. I went 2 weeks late but hey, anything to have a healthy baby and delivery.  Good luck with everything and try not to stress. If anything were really wrong your doctor would tell you right away. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

My sisters placenta was also low but ended up moving up to where it should be. She went on to have a vaginal birth!

My dr. Told me the same thing at my anatomy scan (19 weeks).. he didn't seem concerned and from what I've read even complete previas remit themselves most of the time. He just told us that we can't have sex until I get rechecked around 30 weeks 🙁

I was told the same thing at my 16 week appointment, but like you said, doctor said it's typically not an issue and should be pulled up. Still of course not something we wanna hear! I go back Monday to see how mines looking!
