Why cant i get wet and stay wet during sex?

Recently, every time i have sex i stay kind of dry and it hurts. Its the same when i masturbate. I have no problem getting wet when giving a blow job ( kinky like that lol) or during foreplay NOT INVOLVING HIM NEAR MY 😸😸😸. Once he fully penetrates me and gets going its bearable, but still not really comfortable. There was a long period of time where i didnt have sex at all, then started the shot as birthcontrol. Not long after, i had sex and thats when i noticed the dryness. Its happened with two different people. Could the shot be doing this? I know im std free and i wash well (soap free feminine wash). I also went through some sexual trauma during that long period before starting the shot.... Could it be a psychological thing? Trying to figure out if i need to talk to my gyno or not.
