Anyone had their membranes stripped?

I got checked yesterday and was dilated to a 3.5 and 80% effaced. They stripped my membranes and said if that didn't do anything in the next 8 hours then it didn't work. Well its been 18 hours and nothing has happened. Anyone else experienced this?

I had my sweep Tuesday I was 1cm I was checked today Wednesday and I was 1.5cm another sweep performed! With a long walk taken after then a warm bath followed by bouncing on ball for evening. I'm hoping it works

I had a sweep on Tuesday morning (3 cm dilated but only slightly effaced). It's now Thursday evening and nothing has happened so far. I also had my cerclage removed two weeks ago in an experience that my doctor described as a super sweep!

I was stripped at 10am on a Wednesday and water broke at 4am on Friday. Who knows if i did anything.

With my first pregnancy, I was about 2.5-3cm and 75% effaced. They stripped my membranes twice a few days apart and it didn't start labor. I still had to be induced at 41 weeks. But it was a successful induction and everything was fine.

I have gotten my membranes stripped twice and neither worked unfortunately.

Mine told me within 72 hours and he was right. Just keep moving and doing stuff like normal. Have your bag packed. I was about a 4 and 80% effaced too. Now with my second I hope the same will happen

I got a gentle sweep today. It's actually 24-48 hrs that it can work during, so there's yet some hope!
