Am I the only one?

Question

I'm 39+4, due this Sunday the 15th. Everytime my midwife has offered to check my cervix, I've declined. I don't want a membrane sweep done.  I have no signs of immediate labor and I'm ok with that. I'm not doing anything to naturally induce nor am I begging to be induced. (Even though I'd love a Friday the 13th baby!). 
Don't get me wrong I'm rather uncomfortable! All this weight hurts to carry around! And I'm not judging the other moms on here who are doing these things. But honestly, Am I the only one not rushing this? 
Any other moms patiently waiting this out?!

I'm trying to be as patient as I can be. I've declined to be checked and and not planning on any sort of method of induction. I truly believe that your body will be at its prime giving birth if you allow it the time it needs to prepare for it. I'm super uncomfortable and would not mind at all naturally going into labor at any time now, but I'm going to let my body do its thing until then.

I have spent the last two weeks freaking out because my OB was talking about inducing me or doing a c section at either 40+5 or 41+1 so I've been one of those exercise ball bouncing, raspberry leaf tea drinking, walking, date eating, massage and reflexology getting mums and it has been horrible!! I spent any spare time between those things googling how to naturally induce and why the pros and cons are of going past 41 weeks and then crying my eyes out in frustration that nothing was working. Best thing I did was have a really good long talk with my MIL who reassured me that I haven't even hit my due date yet (I'm 39+4 today) and that the baby will come when it's ready. If that means that it comes two weeks late then that's okay!! Provided the baby is moving, amniotic fluid levels are good, heart rate is good and the baby isn't distressed, let's just let it do its thing!! Good luck ladies!!!

I am due tomorrow Friday 13th, I'm also declining the stretch and sweep. There's definitely part of me tempted to get things started but I also feel better to let nature take its course... I want to do everything to ensure I don't get drug induced but that's a way off (in Australia they won't do that until 42 weeks) good luck to you! Hopefully we will get some signs very soon!

I am finding it wonderful the couple posts I've seen with patient moms. All this induction and complaining stuff makes me feel worse about being overdue!

I was pretty patient and declined a stretch at 39+3.. until I got to my due date (3 days ago) and then I really started getting twitchy but today those feelings calmed greatly. I'm thinking part of it might be that I got a gentle sweep today so it helped me to feel like something was happening but also gave me renewed patience just having checked in to wait another few days until the next appt.

I'm due Saturday and my doc also offered me a sweep and I said no.. I did ask to get my cervix checked which was a big mistake bc I found out I'm only 1 cm and not thinned out at all.. I'm uncomfortable but not in a rush.. I'm actually gonna miss my belly 😢

Me! 🙋🏻 I chose to get checked at 36 weeks (currently 39 weeks) and I was 2 cm then. I haven't had any action since then, and I've declined checks since then as well. Baby boy will come when he comes, regardless of whether I get checked or not.

Am I the only one?
