Might be TMI (Breasts leaking)

So I'm a ftm at 24w5d, and last night, I was just having a conversation with my family at the dinner table, when I looked down and saw I had soaked through my shirt in the chest area. This completely caught me off guard. I did some research, and everything I've found says that is normal, but does anyone know how often this happens while pregnant? I bought some nursing pads to avoid any embarrassing incidents in public, but they are not cheap and I'm a college student who doesn't make a ton of money so if I could avoid wearing them at all times I would like to.
