cant get over a break up 😭😭

So my ex  boyfriend broke up with me around 2 months ago and before breaking up he said he still loved me that what was happening is that he had a lot of stress and couldn't handle a relationship that he would text me once in a while to see how I was doing but I still haven't heard from him and I want to move on but I feel like those words have me holding on to something that might not ever happen...
