Did you throw your own baby shower or help throw it?

My mother in law is throwing mine and I'm kind of co throwin it because it will be at my house. Just wondering if anyone has done the same or similar?

I actually want to plan my own! Just because I know I'm going to be super picky about decorations and I don't really trust many people to do exactly what I want. It's a control thing for me though. I'm trying to be better about it, but I feel like it's gotten worse since I've been pregnant 😂

I'm planning my own 😊 I have a friend who agreed to get my cake and my mother in law is helping with decorations.

Yes. I was able to have a large say in decorations and went to the craft store shopping with my mom for them. Able to pick cake flavors and icing decoration. I personally ordered the invitations and designed them with my husband. And was able to do the menu selection for the restaurant.

I didn't help with my first bc so many of my family memebers helped out but with my second one I did. I've become more of I want things done my way so I helped out.

My mom n I threw my baby shower. She knows I am very particular with certain things so she let me be a part of it. It was held in a restaurant inside of a casino. I did the invitations, center pieces, toy letter boxes, &picked the food menu

With my first child I threw it because my mom and mil couldn't get along. My second was born January 10 so everyone just gave present at Christmas ( he just turned nine 😢 ). And with this one IDC either I can they can or no one I do t want any drama

My mom and MIL threw mine and I helped. I actually made and sent the invitations and helped set up and clean up.
