As long as baby isn't looking at me.. yes. Otherwise I try to lock eyes with my LO every chance I can get

If I didn't have my phone during night feedings I wouldn't be able to stay awake most of the time!

I'll have the tv on or play with my phone if his eyes are closed. When he is awake I normally talk to him. Although today he started to smile when I was talking and the breastmilk went everywhere. Silly kid

During the day, no. During the night, yes to keep my sanity. Night feedings are so lonely and it helps me try to stay awake anyway. He usually had his eyes closed, but if he's looking at me I try to keep eye contact.

I've made it a goal to no be doing anything distracting while my LO nurses. I know that some day I will miss these moments, so I want to soak them in. Also, I feel like I miss out on cues that she is done or ready to switch sides when I am distracted. Nothing is as important as bonding time with my hungry girl ❤️

I usually am but will talk to her about what I'm reading or watching. We have to stay sane somehow

I'm EP and I need my phone to survive! 15 minutes every 4 hours I'm by myself and it gets boring real quick!

I have two toddlers to look after, sometimes it's my only time to check emails, schedules, and text a friend. I still enjoy the time, and pay attention to lo but he's busy eating!!
