lawyers 😐
So my parents are currently trying to fight something that happened after an eye surgery with my dad. Not going to get into details about that part but , my mom has been trying and trying to get in contact with Morgan and Morgan asking if the investigators found anything and if they have a case but they were basically ignoring her, she left HER number and hHER work phone and her name for them to contact her numerous times and they called my dad today and the lawyer was being bitchy! He was supposed to be on my dads side and he asked my dad if he was back at Work already and my dad said yeah and the lawyer was like well why do you want to fight it if you're okay to work obviously you're fine now so just let it go. And my dad replied with I can't sit around and let my wife take the load so I HAVE to work. Mind you my dad speaks English well but Spanish is his first language and he doesn't defend himself As well in English as he would Spanish ... the lawyer , very snobbish and firm, told my dad 'you have no case. Do not go get a second opinion you will not win it'
I know it may seem like 'oh he was just doing his job' but my dad said he said it more threatening type of way and my dad stayed calm in case it was being recorded. His coworkers think he should go to corporate but my parents think it's a waste of time, they think the doctor is paying them off or that they have something to do with the doctor they're fighting against.
A friend of my moms said that they can go to another lawyer but they'd have to find one who's willing to go against Morgan and Morgan??
What should they do? I feel like that lawyer was very unprofessional and if my dad doesn't have a case he should have went about it a VERY different way ...
