fertility treatment questions

Can any woman who have gone through fertility treatments please explain to me all the different opinions? I know that's what the specialists are for but I would really like to have information before going to my appointment with a gynaecologist next month. He will be the one helping decide our next steps but I want to know the different opinions and how they are done and possibly costs before hand. Any input is welcome and thank you in advance
