The Break

My boyfriend recently wanted to take a break and we still text but it's like we're just friends and we carpool to school and everything for me it's hard to see him and not cry or ask why he wanted the break and it seems like it's because his ex is in town and he's had a history of cheating (sending inappropriate pictures and talking inappropriately) with her in our relationship I really want to work it out because I love him and he's my best friend and it kills me not being able to talk to him about this because I told him everything it has caused me so much stress that I haven't really eaten anything and whatever I eat I end up throwing it up I'm trying to keep hope for our relationship but I'm not sure what I can do to make him see how much I love him and I'm not sure what this break means is it just that he truly needs space or it's just preparation for a break up and how do I deal with it and also is there anything I can do to show him how much he means to me
