hysterosalpongogram

I've been trying to conceive for already 3 years.  The first two we wanted to get pregnant but we're not really tracking our fertility...long story short we finally went to see a doctor and he ordered a bunch of exams because it turned out I have uterine fibroids, one of these exams is the hysterosalpongogram and I'm so scared. Does any of you guys have any advice? Does it hurt much? Thank you
