transitioning from bottle to cup with whole milk

What have you other Mommas done to successfully transition your toddler from a bottle of whole milk to a sippy? My daughter just turned one and loves her bottles but I know it's best to switch her to a sippy with her whole milk. She doesnt have an issue with a sippy since she takes water from one- she just seems to prefer milk in a bottle versus in a cup. Need advice!!
