ignorant people

I sware I hate to leave the house anymore. We are going on 17 months ttc. Everywhere My husband and I go everyone is asking why we aren't pregnant!  I was on birth control for the longest time. People assume you just have unprotected sex with people you love. We weren't ready for children before and now we are. They even begin to try and convince us that kids are fun. I get asked all the time if I don't want to have kids. " oh you're dog people" yes we love animals but we would love to start a family too. People are so ignorant. Then they begin to ask how long we've been married now and are shocked we haven't had kids. I begin to say people don't solely get  married for reproducing purposes...why are they so concerned with us reproducing?! 😂
