How long were you together before you got engaged?

Just out of curiosity, how long were you with your significant other before you got engaged? And how long were you engaged before getting married?

First date - 7-22-16
Engaged - 12-9-16
Wedding date - 9-9-17

I was worried what people would think about us getting engaged after only a 4 1/2 months of dating but no one has said a thing. It sounds cheesy but when you know, you know. ❤😍💍

My husband and I started dating in October  of 2011. We were engaged that following April and married that September. So we were dating 6 months before we got engaged and married that same year. It was fast like your relationship but we knew what we wanted. :-)

We were together for 3 1/2 years, engaged for 6 months. We got married a month after our 4 year anniversary. Everyone made negative comments about how our engagement was short and accused me of being pregnant (which I was not).

Engaged- March 27 2016.
Not living together yet.
Marriage plans for 2018.
