Arm implant

I got the implant in my arm a week ago. I have experienced EVERY SIDE EFFECT. Currently I have the one where I have the sore throat and flu kind of thing....anyone else experiencing lots of problems? I really want this birth control to work. I think the 3 year spand is ideal and getting the shot every three months just got old. Couldn't remember to take pills. This was the next birth control I wanted to try and so far I'm not pleased with these symptoms :/
