depo shot

I can't be pregnant if I used a condom while I waited 2 weeks before the shot took effect and I don't think the condom broke Either and the app told me I'm already 3 days late . Before I got the shot I had ended my period but then started spotting the next day I don't know if I should go buy a pregnancy test or it's probably the shot taking effect ?
