What do y'all use to prevent stretch marks??

I'm only 6 weeks into this pregnancy but I've already started wondering what is the best thing to use for stretch marks. I got really bad stretch marks with my other children and they have lightened up alot slot and I dont want them getting darker. What are some things y'all use?

Picture is from my first pregnancy and my belly got worse than that.

I've done everything and I keep my skin super moisturized all the time. I use coconut oil and coco butter 3 times a day and I still got a bunch of them.  So truely I don't believe it's from dry skin, it's genetic.

It's actually genetic so there's really no way to prevent it.

I used Palmers occasionally and got a couple but nothing serious. My daughter is 3 weeks now and honestly, I kinda love them. They're my battle scars.

I have stretch marks from when I was a chubby kid. Not on my belly, but hips and thighs. I thought for sure I was going to get them when I was pregnant, as I was already predisposed to it. I didn't though. My belly grew huge and I didn't get any stretch marks on my belly. I used lotion occasionally, but I knew it doesn't really help. Maybe the stretch marks you have their now will help when your belly expands, and you won't get any more?

This is my stomach right now, you can see they're just slightly visible but not like the other pics. I'm chunky anyways lol 😅

Well, I used the body shop's cocoa butter moisturizer twice daily since the beginning of the pregnancy... the stretch marks are caused due to the stretching of dry skin... if it is well moisturized, the marks can be reduced
