Does mucus plug have to have blood in it?

Just wondering if the mucus plug has to have blood in it or if it can just be clear? I just went to pee and when I looked down there was a blob of clear stuff with white bits in it. Never seen anything like it before in the toilet I never have discharge come out like that so just curious if it was my mucus plug..

No mucous plug kinda looks like snot BUT mycous plug can regenerate. When it all comes out even the last little bit then you get bloody show so blood streaking in the plug

Sounds like some of your plug, mine is the same colour and was with my first baby aswell.

It doesn't always have blood, mine didn't. It was just a big gob, of snot like mucus. Took like 3-4 wipes to get it all.

Some times the first part can be clear how far are you. More will come if your passing it n will have some blood
