swelling a sign of labor??

Not my feet or my hands, but my FACE looks noticeably swollen today. My nose and lips especially. I'm almost 37 weeks, do you think this is a sign of labor being near??

Nope. My face/lips/feet/hands everything has been swollen since 36/37 weeks. My face is so bad that when I smile, my teeth are barely visible. Doc knows, isn't concerned, BP is excellent and no other symptoms to indicate preE.

I would tell your doc about any swelling just to be safe. I think I read somewhere about your face swelling. My mom saw a picture of me and was asking if my face was swollen, I told her no I'm just getting fat. Haha...I hope your swelling isn't an issue.

Unfortunately not unless by near you mean in the next couple of weeks swelling can happen at any point in pregnancy ....I started swelling at 36 weeks and am now past my due date !
